What are Sunoco 100 and Sunoco 150?

Both of these latest additions to Sunoco’s product line are highly specialized, slow evaporating solvents with high boiling ranges.  Used primarily as solvents in paint and coating formulations, they are also used as solvents for catalysts, wood preservatives, additives, inks, industrial cleaners, herbicides, insecticides, and other applications where VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) limits are an issue.

Manufacturing Information

Sunoco produces Sunoco 100 and Sunoco 150 out of the Suncor's Sarnia, Ontario, Canada* refinery.  Sunoco's distribution network for these two products includes rail and truck from the Sarnia refinery, as well as storage in Louisville, Kentucky and Carteret, New Jersey.

Sunoco is strategically located to serve customers in the Southern, Central, Eastern United States and Canada. We will also be expanding to Chicago, Illinois.

Sunoco, Inc. has a joint venture partnership with its former Canadian subsidiary, Suncor Energy Inc., under which the companies jointly market chemicals produced at Suncor’s Sarnia, Ontario refinery and Sunoco's Toledo, OH refinery. Sunoco sold its 55 percent interest in Suncor in 1995.
